On a lighter note, I went to see Tara's little Caleb this afternoon. He is so cute! And, he is doing so much better, the pneumonia is gone and he is regulating his blood sugar on his own. Praise God! Thanks for all the prayers for them last week!
1st Day of School
Do you remember your first day of 7th grade? I remember mine, I could hardly wait to get home and tell my mom about jr high and how much I liked it more than elementary school. I was nervous at first, but quickly found my niche. Yesterday was the first day of school in Zeeland, and I am sure that there was a lot of nervousness. I got to school lunch and went right to the 6th grade hallway to help them with their lockers. I love 6th graders, and I love helping them with their lockers, when I get it open I know I have made a good first impression. (when I can't get it open I usually ask if they are sure this is their locker...you would be surprised how many times we are trying to open the wrong locker :) I met up with one of the girls that I took to camp. She told me about all the drama with her parents and the choices that they had been making, all I can say is keep praying for the staff of YFC and the kids that we run into like this girl on a daily basis.
