Today is the day...
The last school lunch of the school year! This may not seem like a big deal to you all, but try going to 3-4 of them a week and I am sure you would be excited to be getting a break for a while. Tomorrow is actually the last day of school but it is a half day in the morning so no lunch! I can't believe that the kids that started in 6th grade my first year will be in high school next year! 3 years has gone by fast. On a different note I played softball last night...a slow pitch league in Zeeland, we won and I got two hits so not a bad night since I haven't played slow pitch since Colorado!

I almost forgot....I have been thinking lately about getting another sea doo. Well, I test drove one of these yesterday and I have to say they are fun too! You feel like your flying when your really only doing about 15mph! Don't worry Gram, I had a helmet on!
Birthday
Today is my 30th birthday, and since I love to send people cards with these guys on them, I am sure that I will get a few today! In fact I already got a hoops and yoyo card from my Grandma this morning!
Riverbank Run Complete!
This is my mom and I before the race and before the downpour! Let me back up the weekend started with a double header at Wyoming Rogers, we were frying in the dug out it was so warm and sunny, we lost both but played well the second game. 4:30 AM Saturday morning I awake to a downpour/thunderstorm...oh great that will be fun to run in! The race started around 8am and by then the rain had let up, about 2 miles in it started again and by the end we were soaked. I felt bad for people with pants on by the end of the race their pants were sopping wet and they were having a hard time keeping them on! I am proud to say that my mom and I finished the race in just over an hour! Great time for someone who hardly trained and my mom's first race. My sister Kelly ran the 25k and shaved I think something like 15 minutes off her time from last year so that was great too! My dad and my Aun Sharon finished the walk and I am sure had a lot of fun walking and talking! Overall it was a great day that ended with burgers at Uncle Gary's! Can't wait til next year!
RIverbank Run
So this weekend is the Riverbank Run! I know that a few months ago I posted that I was going to do the big one, but with my lack of time lately I have had to defer to the 10k and that's probably a good thing because I feel like I haven't even had time to train for that! My mom is running the 10k too so hopefully I can keep up with her. Softball team did great on Tuesday night, we split a double header with East, but then lost last night to Northview. It's hard to have your head in the game when you arrive 5 minutes before because of the Tulip Time Parade! Next week is my birthday, the big 30! So much for 2 in May Gram!
So I just got this email from Facebook that says that my account has been experiencing some suspicious activity! Probably got hacked into, or has a virus, maybe the swine flu! Currently I am running two different scans on my computer, but if you got some weird message from me, delete it, don't open it!
