So coaching softball is done, (well except for helping with the varsity tournament games) and I wanted to get something with some of the $$. I have been thinking about getting a nice bike for a while now, and I guess last night was the night. My mom felt like spending my money. So we originally started off by heading over to Cross Country Cyle, I checked their website and it said they were open until 8pm. We walked in and the guy came over and said, "we're closed!" Not even a "we open tomorrow at 9", or "I am really sorry but we are closed," nothing! Needless to say, that was the end of that store for me!
So we headed downtown to
Velo City Cycle, what a better experience by far! We walked in and started looking around and a guy came over (not pushy) and talked to us about bike what would be best for me, helped with picking out a helmet, got me set up for future service appointments, gave me a free water bottle, and talked about all the community rides that they do. If you are ever looking for a bike, that is the place to go!
Looking forward to trying it out tonight! Grandma would have loved that store, she loved bikes! I remember not too long ago she bought a folding bike and thought it was so cool....Grandpa just looked at her and shook his head ever so slightly.
