Grandpa Don

Man of steel, could break the chains.
At least back then in glory days.
But with the years the glory fades.
He's still just Grandpa to me.
Little kid full of dreams.
He grew up quick had family.
Got a job, I don't know what that means.
He's still just Grandpa to me.

I want to be like you!
I want to be somebody!
I want to be somebody just like you!

Life went on just as it does.
He broke is back to care for us.
But money had nothing on the way he held us and loved my Grandma!
And when success and failure came,
He was still just Grandpa the same.

I want to be like you!
I want to be somebody!
I want to be somebody just like you!

We are going to miss you PAPA! But, we know you are in a better place now, and I hope you were treated to a beer, steak and potato! Love you!

Love you Kate; you're such a dear heart to your family at this time, especially your Grandma.
YOU ARE SOMEBODY! Be proud, as your Grandpa was of you.
Much love and special thought,
