The Boys of Summer are Back!

It's been a while since I updated! Spring Break I took the week off which was fabulous! Didn't do much, except for going to OPENING DAY IN DETROIT! I have never been to opening day, so it was quite the experience. 37 degrees at game time so it was a cold one, but still fun! Tim Allen threw out the first pitch....Mr. Pure Michigan! They won too, so that is even better.

The softball team is 3-3 so I can't complain there! We won on Wed. night and it was a good showing by the team so I was happy with that. Looking forward to some warm weather so I can get the golf clubs out....still training (or trying to) for the 10k @ the Riverbank Run...if you want to pledge me go to www.ghyfc.org and click on Riverbank Run! Also check out the info there too for the golf outing!

Happy Spring!

With Easter being on Sunday, I went last weekend and got eggs, candy, baskets and little toys! Somebody has to be Grandma Jackie. I am excited to give the stuff to Jake and Isaiah, they are both at the age where I think they will have fun with it all. I also bought stuff to dye eggs so maybe if I get ambitious tomorrow I will do that! Looking forward to next week, Spring Break! I took the week off so I am excited about that. I am going to opening day at Comerica Park next Friday, really anxious for baseball to start! GO TIGERS! Have a good Easter and Spring Break, I hope the weather stays nice for all of us people staying in Michigan!

Softball Season!

It's that time of year again! The first day of softball! I am so excited! I am also finishing up my last week of basketball. We have had a great season so far, 9-1 and a great group of girls to work with so it will be hard to say goodbye to them this week. I am anxious to see how many girls go out, will I have to cut, will I have enough? I do know that I have another pitcher which is great, we had to pretty much rely on one last year and she did awesome, but I knew there were times when she was tired and it's always nice not to have to throw a double header!
