Softball Season!

It's that time of year again! The first day of softball! I am so excited! I am also finishing up my last week of basketball. We have had a great season so far, 9-1 and a great group of girls to work with so it will be hard to say goodbye to them this week. I am anxious to see how many girls go out, will I have to cut, will I have enough? I do know that I have another pitcher which is great, we had to pretty much rely on one last year and she did awesome, but I knew there were times when she was tired and it's always nice not to have to throw a double header!

Spring is In The Air (well somewhere it is...)

Spring Training has started...and Johnny Damon! Can't wait for the season, wonder what Grandma thinks of Damon being a Tiger...I know she liked his long hair when he played for Boston.

A week ago today was the last time I talked to Gram! She called me to tell me that she got the lottery tickets that I sent her (no big winners). That was the last time I would talk to her. She went into the hospital that night with a bad headache and passed away from a severe anuerism in her brain. I miss her already and always will but I'm glad she is in heaven with Grandpa. I am sure they are up there playing baseball, glad that they don't have to deal with the snow anymore!
