It's Over!

Well after 5 months of training the race is over! Thanks to everyone for all the pledges, support and prayers! I'm still not to point where I can say that running that far was fun, but I did enjoy the feeling of accomplishment, and couldn't have done it without my friend Tara. Great Job Tara, I hope your foot isn't hurting too bad! It was really cool to see all the people down there, and have a group with us too. People loved our shirts, we got a lot of compliments, thanks Jeff for designing them, and Melissa for helping with the cost! I'm resting comfortably on my couch watching Indiana Jones...Sarah I have no idea how you ran that race and then did the Tulip Time Parade...You go Girl!

Riverbank Run

Ok so 12 hours from now we will be well into the race. I am getting excited now...of course right when I should be thinking about sleeping! I'm ready well at least as ready as I am going to be! We went down to pick up the bags this morning and just seeing all the people gets you pumped, I can't imagine what it will be like with all the people tomorrow! And, it's supposed to be a beautiful day. Thanks to all those who have pledge and will be praying, I will try to update after the race tomorrow or on Sunday!

One Week Away...

The Riverbank Run is one week from today. We have been training for so long it's hard to believe that race day is almost here! Please pray for us! This is my first time, and I am a little anxious. Also, we have a group running for YFC please pray for their health and safety during the race.

Grandpa Don is home and doing well after his surgery this week! YEAH! Keep him in your prayers too as he recovers! Talk to you soon Gramps!
